CR & FC will be all out to end their 14 matches with a
win against the last placed Air Force. They almost pulled off a win against
Kandy last week-end at home if not for some poor ball handling in the last 10
minutes of the game.
A Tharinda Ratwatte early start will make a world of
difference for the Longdon Place club. Selvaraj being a good place kicker
but he was having no armory to put the opposition team under pressure.
Dixon and Kavindu led from the front in their last encounter but Dixon playing
as a ful back reduced his chances of some more side stepping and dancing which
is his way of rugby. A better ball handling will be required from Omalka
Gunaratne in this encounter.
Meanwhile the Air Force lacked in all areas have run out of
time. Only Iddamalgoda and Seelagama being their best players this season
fought without much support from the rest of the unit.
