Could be any ones game

By Shamzeer Jaleel

Navy hosting the Cops at Welisara could be a thriller and any ones game. Both teams lacked continuity and a proper game plan this season. Police started off well but their form was dropping game by game. Same with the Sailors.

Shamly Nawas after doing the hard work would have expected a number 4 end at least to feature in the Super 4 but without any big names under their belt they did well but yard slower in the end. Sailors need a good leadership quality from their skipper, Thilina Weerasinghe, Dinusha Wijesinghe and their forwards need to rally around the team and play a better piece of rugby at home.Wageesha Weerasinghe will be the triumph card for the Cops with his outstanding play both in defense as well in attack.
