Army hold Police to a draw

Army made a fantastic comeback in order to hold the Cops to a 24 a piece draw at Ratmalana.

At the short breather Police led 12/5.

Police dished out excellent running rugby in the early satages but lacked the finishing end giving up in the last 20 minutes of the match. Army who posses excellent fitness prevailed in the end holding Police to a draw.

For Army their tries were scored by Ssivita Boila, Ashoka Jayalal, Kasun Maduranga and Sameera Bulathsinhala. Gayan Salinda converted two of them while for the Cops their tries were scored by Lahiru Pavithra, Udaya Anjula (2) and Sachith Silva. Sachith converted one of the tries while Yohan Peiris put over the other.
