At the request of CPRFU, SL Rugby Conducted WR L 1 match officiating course in Kandy yesterday (5 Sept ‘20). Among the 17 participants It was encouraging to see 5 Trinity college 1st XV rugby players following the course . Hope they will get seriously involved in refereeing as I saw huge potential in these young players. I Think the last Trinitian to have been involved in refereeing at highest level In SL was my good friend SW Changi who officiated in 80’s and 90’s period. Hope more and more young players would participate / follow World Rugby training programs conducted by Sri Lanka Rugby.
