Dialog Rugby League Super Round & Dialog Clifford Cup Knock Out Tournament 2019/2020

Emergency Council Meeting of the Sri Lanka Rugby held on Monday 16^th March 2020 considering the present epidemic of Corona Virus disease ( COVID – 19),  SLR has taken the following decisions.

1.       To cancel the Dialog Rugby league Super Round, Cup Championship and the Plate Championship which was scheduled to be played from 20^th March 2020 to 29^th March 2020.

2.       Standings of the Dialog Rugby League has been decided based on the points table as at the 14^th week given below.

Kandy SC – Rank 1 – 82 points

Police SC – Rank 2 – 60 points

Havelock SC – Rank 3 – 53 points

CR & FC – Rank 4 – 49 points

Army  SC – Rank 5  - 37 points

Navy SC – Rank 6 – 31 points

CH & FC – Rank 7 – 25 points

Air Force SC – Rank 8 – 08 points

3.       Declared the Dialog Rugby League Cup Championship and Plate Championship as below.

Cup Championship

1.       Kandy SC  - Cup Championship Winner

2.       Police SC – Cup Championship Runner’s Up

3.       Havelock SC – Cup Championship 3^rd Place

4.       CR & FC – Cup Championship 4^th Place

              Plate Championship

1.       Army SC – Plate Championship Winner

2.       Navy SC – Plate Championship Runner’s Up

3.       CH & FC – Plate Championship 3^rd Place

4.       Air Force SC – Plate Championship 4^th Place

4         If the Corona Virus Epidemic is cleared by the Government of Sri Lanka and permission granted and It was decided to commence the Dialog Clifford Cup Knock Out Tournament as below.

             Friday 3^rd April 2020 CR & FC Vs Army SC at Race Course 4.15 pm. ( QF -1)

             Saturday 4^th April 2020 Kandy Vs Air Force at Nittawela at 4.15 pm ( QF -2)

             Saturday 4^th April 2020 Havelock SC Vs  Navy SC at Race Course 4.15 pm ( QF – 3 )

             Sunday 5^th April 2020 Police SC Vs CH & FC at Race Course 4.15 pm (QF – 4 )

             Tuesday 7^th April 2020 Winner  Quarter Final 1 Vs Quarter Final 2 at Nittawela at 4.15 pm

             Wednesday 8^th April 2020 Winner Quarter Final 3 Vs Quarter Final 4 at Race Course 4.15 pm

             Saturday 11^th April 2020 Finals at Race Course at  4.15pm
