This year will be an eventful year for the tuskers as there will be plenty of sevens series in line including the Commonwealth Games and the medal hopes at the Asian Games in August.
Peter Woods remains at the helm for the tuskers and high performance director Inthi Marikar and trainer Nic Groube will travel with the team.
Game one will be on Friday at 4:30 PM Sri Lankan time while the Tuskers game on day two will be at 1:30 PM Sri Lanka time.
Sri Lanka will begin their campaign against a home outfit, Islanders Rugby Club Labuan - Malaysia on Friday, day one of the tournament. Day two will see Sri Lanka take on another team from Malaysia who has 6 Fijians playing at Sabah Eagles - Malaysia.
Having finished as the Plate Runners-up in 2017, the Tuskers outfit will be desperate to get back to winning ways and should take this as golden opportunity to get as much needed game time under their belt as they build up to the big year ahead.
