Things did not go well for the home team thereafter with Police scoring 2 tries within few minutes of each other. Janith Chanaka scoring the 1st and Sachith Silva scoring the 2nd with the help of his brother Iroshan Silva. Janith Chandimal converted both tries making no mistake to take Police into half time 26 to 03.
