Rugby Match Day Commissioner Work Shop by Sri Lanka Rugby

A Match Day Commissioner workshop was conducted recently at the Sri Lanka Rugby meeting room for personal who have aspirations to be a match commissioner and be further involved with the game.

The workshop was conducted by World Rugby Senior Educator Mr. Dilroy Fernando. In addition Director General of SLADA, Dr. Seevali Jayawickrama discussed the subject of Anti-Doping Procedures. Executive Director of SLR, Mr. Rohan Gunarathna spoke on Administration and SLR Expectations, while Dr. Namith Sankalpana educated the participants on concussion management and first aid in Rugby protocol.

13 participants including 1 female attended the full day workshop. Among them were past Rugby players, Coaches, Administrators and Referees.

The participants will get further training in the future and will be on duty for Club A, B and C division Matches and during the 7's Competitions.
