Sri Lanka Rugby has announced a
squad of 28 players for the upcoming Olympic men's qualifiers to be held in
inchdeon, Korea from 23rd to 24th November.
The Tuskers will be boosted with
the availability of some of their key players, who miss out in the recently
concluded Asian Rugby 7s series over 3 legs.
At the same time, Sri Lanka Rugby
has appointed Logan Surridge from New Zealand as their new trainer for Sri
Lanka Rugby 7s both Men's and Women's teams under coaching eye of Matt Lee. His
arrival to the island with be an asset to the players, especially in
strengthening and conditioning.
Sri Lanka Rugby selection
committee is confident, with the experience players coming in, they could
perform better than finishing 4th overall in the Asian Rugby 7s
Series,
